Welcome to COGWA
Why do you go to church?
Is it for the relationships, the programs, the music, the worship? Those are all reasonable reasons. But the most important reason to attend church is to hear the truth of God taught directly from the pages of His inspired word “The Holy Bible.” Within the pages of that book we are given the answers to life’s most important questions. Why was I born? In order to achieve success and peace in this life and beyond, what specifically does God teach me to do and not do? What happens to us after we die? These are merely three of the life altering questions God answers if we are willing to listen.
Following the instruction and example of God the Father and Jesus Christ as well as the New Testament Church, our congregation worships each Saturday. Please take time to review our fundamental beliefs at your leisure for more information about us http://cogwa.org/about/fundamental-beliefs
There is nothing more exciting in the world than understanding the word of God and the plan He has for you and me. Why? Because combining that information with living it leads us to greater peace in our lives today and ultimately eternal life as a spirit being. Simply put, that is called happiness.
If you believe that God is calling you to worship Him according to His timeless and perfect instructions please feel free to email me or call me (479-644-1412) with any questions.

FOI English Projects 2024
Posted on January 20, 2024
Greetings from McKinney, Texas! Foundation Outreach International and the Church would like to announce an opportunity for up to total of six young adults to serve in two different educational projects in late July/early August of 2024 in two of the African countries of Zimbabwe and Zambia! We are looking for young adults from the Church of God, a Worldwide Association, who are interested in serving brethren in these developing countries. Each project involves teaching English to our brethren in the rural areas of two of these countries. Participants for both projects will be gone a total of approximately 14 days.
We recommend you visit the FOI website (accessible from the COGWA Members website). If you are seriously interested in any of these unique service projects, please pick up copies of both the fact sheet (which details requirements, dates and costs) and the FULL application.
Note: Please submit the FULL APPLICATION (available at the information table/bulletin board). DO NOT submit the short, interest application from the website. The deadline for applying is March 15, 2024, so get your application in soon!
If you have any questions about this project, feel free to contact Doug Horchak at doug.horchak@cogwa.org. Thank you all very much!
